What is this?

BASIC SEARCH
Simply enter a word or phrase.

Common words, such as "and", "is", and "the", also known as noise words, are bypassed
in a search. Click here for a complete list of noise words.

ADVANCED SEARCH
You may qualify multiple words or phrases by using AND - AND NOT - OR
For AND, use & (example: Christ & reality of the body)
For OR, use | (example: economy | plan)
For AND NOT, use &! (example: spirit &! our human)

Proximity search using NEAR (~)
Using ~ specifies a match of words or phrases that must be close to one another.
Example: lay hold of ~ eternal life. Pages in which the words or phrases
appear closer to one another, receive higher rankings.

Prefix search using *
A * specifies a match of words or phrases beginning with the specified text.
A search string with regen* would find all pages with words that begin with regen.

Inflectional search using ^
A ^ specifies that the plural and singular, as well as the gender and neutral forms of
nouns, verbs, and adjectives should be matched. The various tenses of verbs should
be matched as well. For example, ^dispense would find dispense, dispenses,
  dispensed, dispensing, etc.

Complex searches
Complex searches can be formulated by grouping expressions within parentheses. For example:
  ^mingle & (^dispense | work Himself | ^impart) & (God-man | God-men) & ^attribute &
  (^virtue &! bright virtue) & divinity & humanity

Examples
Christ will return all pages in which the word Christ is found.

these three phrases. A higher ranking will be given to chapters that have the two words
(ie. eternal and purpose) used in close proximity to one another.

economy & ^dispense will find all chapters in which any form of the word dispense
is found and the word economy.
